For the second M-M-M Symposium of RTG 2723, we were delighted to welcome three outstanding speakers:

• Dr. Fintan Moriarty, AO Research Institute Davos: "Fracture-related infection: New approaches to prevention and treatment"
• Prof. Dr. Alina Sionkowska, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun: "3D materials based on biopolymer blends for potential bone tissue engineering"
• Prof. Dr. Christian Eggeling, Friedrich Schiller University Jena: "Advanced microscopy studies of membranes"

In addition to the inspiring talks by our invited experts, the RTG doctoral researchers presented their own work through engaging talks and poster sessions. The program was further enriched by the workshop "Cultivating resilience and a growth mindset in academia" leaded by Dr. Emma Geoffray specifically designed for RTG doctoral researchers and postdocs.

The symposium provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange and networking – we thank all participants for making this event such a success!
